Attribute Management

ArenaCore supports storage of detailed attribute information against all resource items in a solution design.

Attribute values are managed in the ‘ITEM’ panel of the Infrastructure Manager interface.

Attributes for child items are managed separately from those of parent slot, chassis or rack items. Therefore in the context of a hierarchically structured equipment object, many attribute values may ultimately be maintained in total.

In addition to the standard attributes presented and managed for Configuration Items, it is possible to add additional ‘Dynamic Attributes’ on a per item basis. This is done using the ‘Add Attr’ selector within the Dynamic Attributes panel area. Please note – this capability is currently available in the ArenaCore Administration app only.
